Thank you for shopping with Cowhide Imports. We take pride in offering high-quality, authentic cowhide rugs and accessories. Please review our Shipping, Returns, and Refund Policy below.

 

SHIPPING: 

  • Free Shipping: We offer FREE standard shipping on all orders delivered within the contiguous United States.
  • Carriers: Orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground.
  • Processing Time: In-stock orders typically leave our warehouse within 5 business days of your order being placed.
  • Expedited Shipping: 3-day and next-day delivery options are available at checkout for an additional fee.
  • Tracking: Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.

 
CANCELLATIONS/ RETURNS/ EXCHANGES:

We want you to love your cowhide. If you’re not fully satisfied, returns and exchanges are FREE (with some exceptions noted below). 

Eligibility & Timeframe

  • Returns must be requested within 14 calendar days of receiving your hide.
  • For Natural Off-White cowhides, returns must be requested within 7 days of receipt.
  • Items must be unused, uncut, and in the same condition as received.
  • Items must be returned in the original or similar packaging.

Return Authorization

To start a return or exchange, please email support@cowhideimports.com with your order number. We will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and return instructions.

Restocking Fee

  • For returns of three (3) or more cowhides, a 15% restocking fee will apply to offset packaging and shipping costs.
  • Returns of one or two cowhides are free of restocking fees.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your account.

 

DAMAGES & DEFECTS

Our products are guaranteed against damage. Please inspect your items upon delivery.

  • Reporting Damages: Notify us within 72 hours of receipt if you notice any damage or shortage.
  • Proof Required: We may request a photo to issue a Return Authorization and determine if the issue occurred during shipping.
  • Replacement: If we confirm a defect beyond the natural qualities of cowhide, we’ll send a replacement at no charge.

Please note:

  • Natural markings, brandings, minor scars, or variations in color and texture are inherent to real cowhides and are not considered defects.
  • Returns received after 60 days of delivery will be refused and returned to the sender.
